Sequece is a board game that i really enjoy playing! I play it all the time with my friends in chalet, it really makes you use you brain and think. Unfortunately my friends are big cheaters in this game, but I always find a way to win. The players compete to create rows, columns or diagnals of 5 connected checkers placed on the cards that the player has laid down. Two-eyed jacks are wild, while one-eyed Jacks allow an opponents checker to be removed. The game ends when someone has reached a 2 number of connections(we call it in kuwaiti bair). Basically, it’s a complicated tic tac toe using playing cards. If you’re interested you can find it in fantasy world, they also offer a smaller version for travel.

The Italian fashion brand, Missoni, known  for its brightly-colored prints is setting off its first two hotels which are in Edinburgh, Scotland and Kuwait City. The interior designs for the Kuwait hotel is made by Matteo Thun & Patners company. It is filled with Missoni’s fabric which gives it a feeling of being habitable space. The color schemes and fabric patterns match the location to saturate the colors for all the 176 rooms and 31 suites in the hotel.  It’s located in Symphony building, but i dont know it will be opening. As soon I find out the exact date I will update you. Below i added a few pictures of the hotel interior that i find really great. It’s really amazing that Kuwait is one of the first to set off in Missoni’s hotel chain. Enjoy the pictures…

The Gaucho Grill

What comes to your mind when you think of a good burger? The patty thickness, the buns and if its juicy or not. The Gaucho Grill cheese burger combines all these details with a twist of perfection. It was very juicy and the thickness of the burger patty was perfect and on the side came with lettuce, tomatoes etc…  I really enjoyed it, and in my opinion its one of the BEST burgers ive tired here in kuwait!! So, if you’ve never tired it, i advise you to do so as soon as you can!

Weekend getaway location

Starbucks kout is my favorite relaxing spot during the weekend. I go there in search of peace and quite time from the everyday hassle and stress. I get together mostly with 2 of my friends and go there for a small chat and catching up wit each other. The view is perfect, which is the kout marina. During sunset is the best time to go there. I highly recommend it if you want a place to sit, relax, and enjoy the view.
