Grace- E motorbike

Posted: November 19, 2009 in Random

Grace is an electric motorcycle that’s disguised as a bike. It is the world’s first legal street E-motorbike.  The Li-ion battery powered bike can hit 45km/h (28mph), powered by a 1.3KW motor, and it will run for an average of 25 miles before needing a recharge. Also, the bike is equipped with disk brakes front and rear, the batteries inside the frame, and engine inside the rear hub, hooked directly to the axle (you can pick one of two motors, one for speeding on the flats and one for more power to go up steeper grounds “Talat”). Grace is hand-built in Berlin and costs $8,800. It would be really nice for chalet to have a spin around maghrib time.
